
Francisco Dias Notches Second Victory of Weekend

WICHITA, Kan.- The No. 61 George Washington men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to host Wichita State to wrap up a weekend of competition on Sunday.
The Colonials (1-5) yielded the doubles point to the Shockers (5-2) after falling at the Nos. 1 and 3 positions. In singles action, senior No. 109 Francisco Dias recorded his second victory of the weekend, topping Wichita State's Tomislav Gregurovic 6-0, 6-7, 6-2 in No. 2 slot. GW took the Shockers the distance in five of six singles bouts in a hard-fought match.
The Buff and Blue look to bounce back at next weekend's three-day ECAC Indoor Championships hosted by Columbia University in New York, New York.
