WASHINGTON - The George Washington men's tennis team heads south to take on Georgia State and Stetson over the weekend at the Panthers' Piedmont Park in Atlanta.
The Colonials (2-6) split a pair of matches at last weekend's ECAC Division I Indoor Championships, falling to Yale (5-2) before defeating Monmouth (3-3) in the Harvard-hosted tournament. Junior Danil Zelenkov continued his stellar play this spring, going unbeaten with a pair of singles wins in top-flight action and a pair of doubles triumphs with senior Francisco Dias.
Georgia State (3-5) comes off a victory over Samford (5-1) on Saturday, while Stetson (2-3) most recently dropped a 4-1 decision to Troy (8-4), but will take on both Florida A&M (0-5) and No. 32 Florida State (9-2) on Friday before playing the Buff and Blue.
The Colonials will face the Panthers on Saturday at 2 p.m. before meeting with the Hatters on Sunday at 8 a.m.
