ITA All-American Championships Tournament Central
TULSA, Okla. - Junior Julius Tverijonas and senior Danil Zelenkov advanced to day two of the 2015 Saint Francis Health Systems ITA All-American Championships singles pre-qualifying round with victories on Saturday at the University of Tulsa.
Tverijonas triumphed in his first pre-qualifying match in a three-set battle with Texas A&M's Oscar Janglin, 7-6 (8), 4-6, 7-6 (4), winning a pair of tiebreakers to advance to Sunday's play. Tverijonas will face Daniel Loebel of Western Michigan for a spot in the Round of 64.
Zelenkov wrapped GW's day of play with a three-set victory of his own, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, over the University of Central Florida's Inaki Espindola. Zelenkov with take on Joe DiGuilio of UCLA on Sunday.
