The fifth-seeded George Washington men's tennis team won four straight matches, including upset wins over the Nos. 1, 2 and 4 seeds, to capture its second straight Atlantic 10 Championship title and third in school history on Sunday. GW - which won its first A-10 Championship in 1979 - defeated rival Xavier in the title match for the second consecutive year to earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Colonials bounced back from losing the doubles point to win four of the six singles matches, capped by senior Ugur Atalay's clinching victory at No. 2 singles.
