Men's Tennis Defeats Rival Georgetown, 5-2

WASHINGTON -- The George Washington men's tennis team collected their second non-conference win over rival Georgetown on Saturday, 5-2.
The Colonials started off strong winning both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches to secure the doubles point. Chris Kushma and Arya Vayghan defeated Andrew Bruhn and Bryan Miller 8-3 at No. 1 doubles while Ugur Atalay and Erik Hannah beat Anthony Tan and Will Lowell 8-6 at the No. 2 position.
Hannah extended his winning streak at No. 3 singles to six after winning the first singles match of the day over David Tillem, 6-0, 7-5.
Atalay defeated Tan at No. 1 singles 7-6(6), 6-3, while Levinski secured a tough three set match over Miller, 6-2, 4-6, 6-0. Kushma also won his No. 5 singles match, 6-4, 6-4, over Lowell.
The Colonials will next travel to Greenville, NC to take on East Carolina on Sunday at 10 a.m.
