
Men's Tennis Sweeps at Dayton, Xavier

DAYTON, OHIO- George Washington men's tennis defeated both Dayton and Xavier on the road this weekend, 7-0 over Dayton and 5-2 over Xavier.
Against Dayton, the Colonials took every doubles and singles matches in straight sets for the win.
"Our tough schedule and new training program has given our team a lot of confidence," said head coach Greg Munoz. "It's going to be a battle in conference but we will continue to work hard to get ready, and hopefully stay injury free."
In doubles against Xavier, GW dropped all three matches. The Colonials battled back to take five of six matches for the 5-2 win.
Chris Kushma extended his singles winning streak to nine matches adding two more wins from the weekend trip. Yan Levinski and Erik Hannah both finished undefeated against Atlantic 10 Conference opponents.
The Colonials next play at Georgetown on April 10 starting at 11:00 a.m. against Georgetown and play Howard later that same day at Mount Vernon Tennis Center with matches starting at 4:00 p.m.
