PHILADELPHIA, PA-George Washington men's tennis sophomore Chris Kushma was named Atlantic 10 Player of the week for the first time this season.

Kushma is riding a six-match winning streak at the No. 4 singles going into today's home match against UMBC at the Mount Vernon Tennis Center.

Kushma posted a 3-0 record last week against Navy, No. 56 Radford and Longwood to increase his season singles record to 7-3.

Kushma and teammate Yan Levinski went 2-1 in No. 2 doubles last week also.
