Men's Tennis Falls to Princeton, 6-1

WASHINGTON, DC - The Colonials men's tennis team lost, 6-1, to Princeton Saturday at Princeton, NJ. With the loss, GW dropped to 6-5 on the year while Princeton improved to 3-2.
Junior Mike Melen (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) was the lone victorious Colonial on the day with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 triumph at No. 6 singles. The Colonials were without freshman Matt Treadgold (Glenmont, NY/Bethlehem Central) who missed the match due to injury.
The Colonials travel to Piscataway, NJ, for a a Sunday, Feb. 24 match at Rutgers beginning at noon.
