Junior, High School & Amateur Golf
Alvaro left Panama in the summer of 2004 as the number one-ranked junior in the country. He has represented Panama in many events, including the Callaway World Junior at Torrey Pines and the Central American Championships where he finished third in 2004. At Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut, Alvaro played number one and captained one of the top Prep school teams in New England. Alvaro finished third at the 2004 New England Prep School Championship and fourth in 2003. Alvaro is an International Affairs Major.
