Golf Awarded 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. - The 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award teams has been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). GW golf was named to the list, having earned Presidents Special Recognition for achieving a 3.50+ GPA over the 2024-25 academic year.Â
Led by Head Coach Chuck Scheinost entering his 13th season, GW golf achieved a 3.53 GPA over the 2024-25 academic year. GW was one of 129 schools to receive Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above.
A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned a Platform Golf Team Academic Award.
