Barbachano Garners A-10 All-Conference Accolade

WASHINGTON -Â GW senior golfer Manuel Barbachano was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team, the league announced on Tuesday. Barbachano's inclusion marks the fourth-straight year a member of the Buff & Blue has earned a selection on the team, joining Jakub Hrinda (2023-24) and Rodrigo Barahona (2025).
The senior finished his career in style with an eighth-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship, his second top-10 at the conference event in the last three years. He posted a career-best scoring average of 72.4 across 32 rounds with four top-10s and three top-three finishes on the campaign.
The highlight of his spring season came via a 7-under 209 at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge, the sixth-lowest score to par in program history. He also represented GW on the national stage at the Genesis Invitational Collegiate Showcase, finishing in eighth out of 19 competitors.
Over 11 stroke play events this season, Barbachano amassed a head-to-head record of 564-253-18 with a national ranking of #601, more than 400 spots higher than a year ago.
