WASHINGTON -Â On the first major championship weekend for professional golf, George Washington's golf program will take part in its final regular season event of the campaign at the Stitch Intercollegiate in Raleigh, N.C.
The Buff & Blue will open up competition at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course with 36 holes on Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m. followed by the final 18 on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.

GW posted its best performance of the spring season with a t-7th finish at the SeattleU Redhawk invitational, finishing with a 16-over 872. The Buff & Blue took advantage in the final round with one of the best rounds of the spring with a 4-under 284. Rodrigo Barahona (t-9) and Adam Bencick (t-14) both tallied top-15 finishes individually.
