Golf Hosts Monterrey Collegiate Classic Friday and Saturday

WASHINGTON - GW golf returns to a familiar place in Club Campestre Monterrey to host the third annual Monterrey Collegiate Classic this weekend in Monterrey, Mexico. Teams will tee off at 9 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday with 27 holes scheduled each day.
The event serves as a homecoming for Rodrigo Barahona and Benji Garcia Moreira, who both hail from Monterrey, as well as countryman Manuel Barbachano, who calls Merida, Mexico home.
LAST TIME OUT: Buoyed by a pair of under-par rounds, GW golf tied for seventh at the Bash In The Boro last week. The Revolutionaries carded a 6-over 870 as a team with sophomore Maxime Lam posting the top individual finish in a tie for 14th.
