Tennis Concludes Fall Season at ITA Regional Championship

WASHINGTON – The George Washington tennis team concludes its fall season this weekend at the ITA Regional Championship hosted by Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. The Revolutionaries will send four doubles teams and five singles players to compete.
Viktoria Sasinka is the lone member of the Buff & Blue to receive a bid into the main draw of the singles bracket; her opponent and time of match are still TBA. Madison Lee, Karen Verduzco, Solange Skeene and Alexandra Lindqvist will all compete in the singles qualifying draw, eyeing a berth into the main bracket to join Sasinka. Qualifying matches will take place on Thursday at various times throughout the day.
On the doubles side, the teams of Balin/Talipova, Manu/Lindqvist, Sasinka/Skeene and Lee/Verduzco will all compete in the 64-team main draw. Times for those matches are still TBA. All duo pairs that drop their first-round match will be relegated to the consolation bracket.
