WASHINGTON -Â GW golf is set to compete at the Atlantic 10 Championship this weekend at the Evermore Resort in Orlando, Fla. The Buff & Blue are looking for the second conference championship in program history and an improvement on its fourth-place finish each of the last two years.

GW golf closed its spring regular season with a sixth-place finish at the Wofford Intercollegiate, improving its team score in each round. Jed Dy and Jakub Hrinda led the way individually for the Buff & Blue, each tying for 18th with a 7-over 217. Dy was consistent in the tournament with rounds of 72, 72 and 73 while Hrinda bounced back from a 76 in Monday's second round with a GW-low 68 on Tuesday in a round that featured five birdies.

FORMAT
The Atlantic 10 Championship will be a three-round stroke play event with 18 holes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tee times begin at 7:30 a.m. each day. The Buff & Blue are paired with VCU and Richmond in the opening round while pairings will be determined by standing on Saturday and Sunday.
