WASHINGTON -Â Head coach George Rodriguez and the George Washington tennis program have announced the team's 2025 schedule. The Revolutionaries open the spring season on Jan. 25, battling local rival and Atlantic 10 foe George Mason.
Â
GW's 2025 schedule features eight home events, all of which will be played at Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (SETLC) this season. The Buff & Blue open their home slate on Jan. 31, hosting Mount St. Mary's. GW will also host DePaul (Feb. 1), Delaware State (Feb. 13) and Long Beach State (March 1) in non-conference action.
Â
Including the season-opener against George Mason, GW will compete in seven A-10 matches this year. Along with the trip to Fairfax, the Buff & Blue will only travel to Saint Joseph's (March 7) and Richmond (April 19) during the conference calendar. The rest of GW's A-10 matches will be played at home against Fordham (March 2), Massachusetts (March 19), Rhode Island (March 22) and Davidson (April 11). The mid-April matchup against Davidson will serve as GW's Senior Day, where Alejandra Ramirez, the program's lone senior this season, will be honored for her stellar academic and athletic career.
Â
During spring break, the Revolutionaries will travel to the west coast to play two neutral site matches. The GW Revs will first battle Augustana on March 10, then face Cal State Fullerton two days later on the 12th. Both matches will be played at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.
Â
Following the conclusion of the regular season, the Atlantic 10 Championship will be hosted in Orlando, Fla., from April 24-27. The single-elimination tournament will follow the usual format in recent years, with all 13 teams making the postseason and the top three seeds at the end of the year receiving a first-round bye. A champion will be crowned in the title match, which is slated to take place on Sunday, April 27.
