Golf Finishes Seventh at Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational

FARMINGTON, Pa. - GW golf slogged through a pair of difficult days weather-wise at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational, finishing seventh in its third event of the fall.
Battling top foes from around the A-10 and Power 4 foes West Virginia and Penn State, in addition to the elements, GW posted a 32-over 896. WVU won its own tournament with a 2-over 866, 12 shots clear of second-place George Mason.
Rodrigo Barahona and Manuel Barbachano found themselves in a familiar position, both carding their third top-20 finish in as many tournaments for the Buff & Blue. Barahona finished t-13 after a 5-over 221 that culminated in an even-par 72 on Tuesday. Barbachano bounced back from a 77 in the opening round to finish t-20 with an 8-over 224.
