Golf Continues Fall at VCU Shootout

WASHINGTON -Â GW golf is back on the east coast and in action on Monday and Tuesday at the VCU Shootout in Richmond, Va. The Revolutionaries will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday at The Country Club of Virginia Tuckahoe Creek course.

BACK IN RECORD TERRITORY
GW returns to the VCU Shootout after setting the 54-hole program scoring record last season with a 35-under 829, outpacing the previous mark by 10 shots. The Buff & Blue finished third in the event a year ago, also posting the best 36-hole score (-22, 554) in program history.
Individually, Jakub Hrinda broke the 36- and 54-hole program marks at the time, only to surpass them later in the season. Hrinda finished the tournament with a 14-under 202. Rodrigo Barahona also impressed in his collegiate debut a year ago, tying for fifth in the tournament with an 11-under 205.
