LAST TIME OUTÂ
GW topped George Mason last Saturday for its second-straight victory. In a closely contested win, GW tallied the only two goals in the final quarter to break the tie to earn a 13-11 victory. Neither team led by more than two goals throughout the entire contest, with GW holding the lead the entire second half and George Mason tying the game at 10 and 11.Â
HAT TRICK DUO
Saturday's three-goal outing for Everly Kessler marked the first hat trick of her career as well as her first multi-score game. Kessler has played in eight contests this season and has tallied seven goals and five assists. Whitney Moran finished with the other hat trick for the Buff & Blue's offense on Saturday, her third of the season and sixth multi-goal outing this season. Starting all 12 contests so far for GW, Moran has scored in all but three games for GW and is second on the team with 18 goals.Â
WALKER WITH THE ASSISTÂ
Senior Katelyn Walker tallied five of her team-leading seven assists in GW's pair of wins last week, matching her career-high three assists in the Buff & Blue's win over Mason. Walker recorded a season-best four points vs. Delaware State with two goals and two helpers.
