Golf Finishes Fourth at Atlantic 10 Championship

Hrinda named to All-Conference team
KISSIMMEE, Fla. -Â GW golf wrapped up the A-10 Championship on Sunday afternoon at the Nickalus Course at Reunion Resort, finishing in fourth place as a team with a 23-over 887. The Buff & Blue finished fourth for the second-straight year, behind league champion Davidson (+1, 865), Loyola Chicago (+9, 873) and VCU (+17, 881).Â
Individually, Jakub Hrinda paced GW with a 1-over 217, finishing in a tie for sixth place. Hrinda was named to the A-10 All-Conference team, becoming GW's first representative since Logan Lowe in 2019.
Hrinda led three Colonials that finished in the top-20, including first-years Rodrigo Barahona (+6, 222) and Jed Dy (+10, 226). Barahona posted the best score for GW on Sunday with a 2-over 74 on a day in which only two players finished under par and the course played an average of three strokes harder than each of the first two days.
Hugo Riboud (+13, 229) and Manual Barbachano (+14, 230) rounded out the performances for GW.
