Women's Indoor Track Heads to Patriot Games This Weekend

Colonials will look to build off last week's strong performance
WASHINGTON- Following an impressive opening weekend at the Keydet Invitational that featured six top-10 finishes and a new school record in the 400m, GW women's indoor track will look to put together another strong showing at this weekend's Patriot Games, hosted by George Mason. Events will begin on Friday and continue into Saturday.
At the Keydet Invitational, a handful of Colonials started off the season with a bang. Brittany Wilkinson set a school record in the 400m with a time of 1:00.21, and sophomores Claire McDonnell and Kenzie Konyar made their event debuts in the mile competition, with both finishing in the top 10.
This week, several runners from GW's A-10 champion women's cross country team will make their season debuts. All-Conference runner Margaret Coogan will participate in the mile and 1000m, and A-10 All-Rookie selection Olivia Syftestad will race in the 60m dash.
