Track & Field Set for Two Meets this Weekend at Virginia Challenge and Morgan State Legacy Meet

GW track & field will split time between the Virginia Challenge and Morgan State's Legacy Meet this weekend.

Competition in Charlottesville, Va., will open on Friday afternoon with primarily distance events, followed by hurdles, sprints and field events on Saturday.Â

Last weekend, GW set two new program records by standout distance runners Michael Bohlke and Hadley Mahoney. Mahoney had her second record-setting performance in as many weeks at the Bison Invitational, setting a new mark in the women's 800m at 2:11.79. Bohlke raced in the 1,500m for the first time this season at the Duke Invitational where he bested his own mark from last season with a 3:40.66. Both runners will be back in action on Friday night at UVA, with the full schedule below. Action for Saturday at Morgan State will be forthcoming.Â
