Riboud finishes No. 17
OKATIE, SC- Competing in its first tournament of the spring season, the George Washington golf team finished in eighth place at the Oldfield Invitational.Â
GW shot a combined score of 79-over par 943 over the three rounds of play. Sophomore Hugo Riboud led the Buff and Blue, finishing No. 17 with a final 4-over par 220.Â
In his Buff and Blue debut, Ty Sullivan finished No. 36 shooting a 230 (76-77-77). Luis Preciado followed close behind at No. 40 with a 18-over par 234 (76-80-78).Â
Cliff Thompson shot 259 (91-87-81) over the two days of play, finishing 43-over par. Â
GW is back in action on Feb. 20-21 when it heads to Savannah, GA, for the Invitational at Savannah Harbor.Â
