SAVANNAH, Ga. - The George Washington golf team finished its second tournament of the season with a 10th-place showing at the Invitation at Savannah Harbor.

In his season debut, sophomore Jakub Hrinda led GW finishing with a seven-over-par 223, putting him in a three-way tie for 28th overall.

Cliff Thompson played his best round of the season, finishing two-under par in the final round of play (-2, 70).

"We're getting better every day and I'm really proud of our guys for that," head coach Chuck Scheinost said.

"This weekend everyone contributed," Scheinost said. "We're hungry and ready to go out there in a couple of weeks to continue to get better.
