Sailing Gunning for America Trophy

SETTING SAIL: The GW sailing team will look to qualify for the ICSA Coed National Championship this weekend as it competes at Navy in the America Trophy, which serves as the coed conference championship.

Last weekend, the Colonials took third at the MAISA Women's Championship, thus qualifying for a fifth straight nationals appearance in that discipline. A top-nine finish this weekend for the Colonials, who are ranked 14th in Sailing World's coed national rankings, would send them to the coed national championship for the fourth consecutive year.

GW will also enter two teams in the Arrigan Memorial hosted by Georgetown at the Washington Sailing Marina in Alexandria, Va.
