WASHINGTON - George Washington baseball head coach Gregg Ritchie has announced that eight student-athletes have signed on to join the Colonials for the 2017 season.
The initial class features student-athletes from six states around the country and addresses positional needs both on the mound and in the field. The class includes three pitchers, one catcher, one shortstop and a pair of dual-position athletes.
"We are very excited to welcome this class and their families to the GW baseball program," said assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Dave Lorber. "All eight of these young men have bought into our vision as we continue to elevate this program within the Atlantic 10, the Mid-Atlantic region and on the national stage."
