Baseball Closes Out Season With Three Game Sweep of Duquesne

Colonials eclipse record for total wins in a season by three
The GW baseball team only needed one more win going into the three game series against Duquesne to beat the season total wins record of 33 set by the 98 team. They got three. Finishing the season with a bang, the Colonials swept the Dukes 15-1, 10-4, and 2-1 to post a final season record of 36-19 overall and 16-5 in the Atlantic 10. GW heads into the Atlantic-10 Tournament in Boyertown, Pennsylvania May 18-20 next.
