3/20/2026 2:30:00 PM | Gymnastics
After placing seven gymnasts on All-EAGL First and Second Teams, the reigning EAGL champion GW will compete for its second-straight crown on Saturday afternoon. Hosted by LIU at the Pratt Recreation Center in Brookville, N.Y., the Revolutionaries will be tested by all four league opponents in regular-season champion New Hampshire, Towson, Temple and the host Sharks beginning at 5 p.m. on NEC Front Row.
REGULAR SEASON RUNDOWN
George Washington saw seven earn All-EAGL accolades and placed 18 on the All-EAGL Scholastic team in 2026. Senior Deana Sheremeta and sophomore Lola Montevago headlined the list of honorees for GW, with each earning First Team honors in the all-around, on bars and on beam, in addition to Sheremeta notching a First Team selection on floor and Montevago slotting into the Second Team on vault. First-years Aspen Tucker and Alison Mun each picked up the first All-EAGL awards of their collegiate careers as well.
On the scholastic side, GW's five seniors each earned All-EAGL recognition for the fourth-consecutive time in their tenure with GW gymnastics, and eight additional Revolutionaries earned the honor for at least the second time.
A LOOK AT THE LEAGUE
Regular season champion New Hampshire enters championship weekend with a 194.864 NQS, good for No. 46 in the nation, while the Towson Tigers lead EAGL in the national field, sitting 42nd in the nation with an NQS of 195.189.
