Gymnastics Faces LIU in a Dual EAGL Meet

GW gymnastics heads north to Long Island to face off with the Long Island University Sharks in its first EAGL meet of the regular season. Action in Brookville, N.Y. is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday evening, and the meet will air on NEC Front Row.
At the meet, the Revolutionaries will debut their 2026 Alex de Moura commemorative leotard design. The late de Moura hailed from Long Island, and the Feb. 22 home meet will also serve as the team's annual rip current awareness competition in memoriam of the program alumna.

The GW Revs saw a season-high performance at the Temple quad meet last Friday evening, earning a 194.350 behind a stellar 49.300 floor rotation that featured career-high performances from Lola Montevago, Catherine O'Rourke and Maya Peters. O'Rourke was recognized for her performance on Wednesday by EAGL in being named its Specialist of the Week.

· The Sharks enter the weekend matchup after posting a season-high 194.000 at Bridgeport.
· GW won the head-to-head meeting with the Sharks in 2025, defeating the Sharks, 195.400-190.250.
