ORLANDO, Fla. - GW golf finished out the 2024-25 season on Wednesday afternoon, coming in eighth place in the Atlantic 10 Championship, hosted at the Evermore Resort's Grand Cypress Course.
George Washington was led in the competition by its top player all season in junior Rodrigo Barahona, who shot an even-par 72 in the final round to finish in solo sixth place at 3-under for the championship. Following the competition, Barahona was named First Team All-Conference, the third straight year GW has had a representative on the team. The Mexico native climbed into a tie for the lead midway through Wednesday's round with four birdies in his first seven holes before a pair of double bogeys late in the round derailed the individual championship hopes.

Manuel Barbachano finished 21st at 3-over overall following a final day 76. Philippe Thorin finished in a tie for 33rd after his 75 on Wednesday.
