Golf Completes Second Round of A-10 Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. -Â GW golf equaled its showing from Monday's opening round with a 6-over 294 in Tuesday's second round of the Atlantic 10 Championship, held at the Grand Cypress course of the Evermore Resort. The Revolutionaries currently sit in eighth place with a 12-over 588 heading into the final day of competition on Wednesday.
Rodrigo Barahona continued to impress in the individual competition, firing a 2-under 70 to move to 3-under for the championship and remaining in a tie for fifth place, four shots off the lead. Barahona birdied three of his final five holes on the day, carding four birdies overall.Â
Manuel Barbachano shot an even-par 72 to remain in top-10 individually, balancing a trio of birdies with a trio of bogeys on the day. Adam Bencik posted a 1-over 73 while Benji Garcia Moreira made his debut in the second round with a 7-over 79. Philippe Thorin rounded out GW's day with an 8-over 80.
Richmond took control of the team competition by shooting 11-under on the day, and currently sits at 10-under through 36 holes, five shots clear of second-place Davidson.Â
The final round will take place on Wednesday with tee times beginning once again at 7:30 a.m.
