Gymnastics Celebrates Dare to Bloom Meet Against Clemson, Penn State

WASHINGTON - Behind a season-high floor score of 49.425, the GW gymnastics team earned a third-place finish with a 195.250 against Clemson and Penn State on Sunday afternoon.

GW REVS IN BLOOM

VAULT: 48.975

-              Kendall Whitman scored a season-high 9.875 in the leadoff spot.
-              Delaney DeHaan stuck a 9.850 in the anchor position.
-              Kasey Burke earned her second-highest vault of the season with a 9.825.

BARS: 49.050

-              Five of six GW Revs stuck their routines for the second highest bars score of the season.
-              Rachel Katz earned a season-high 9.825, while Madi McMullen also earned a season-best 9.750.
-              Lola Montevago continued to impress on the apparatus, earning her fourth bars score at or above 9.900 to win the event.

BEAM: 47.800

-              Whitman led off the Buff & Blue matching her season-best 9.875 to claim the event's co-title.
-              Montevago earned her fifth 9.850 on beam.
-              Maya Peters stuck her landing, earning a 9.825 in the fifth slot.

FLOOR: 49.425

-              GW earned its highest floor rotation score of the season, headlined by a 9.950 event-winning routine from Whitman and a 9.900 from DeHaan.
-              Floor leadoff Kylie Kazmierski earned a new personal-best 9.875 on floor.
-              Burke matched her season-high with another 9.875.
-              McMullen earned a new personal-best 9.775 in just her second time competing on the floor for GW in the anchor position.
