Justin Wong Named as Head Coach at Fort Lewis College

WASHINGTON -Â GW volleyball Assistant Coach Justin Wong has been named Head Coach at Fort Lewis College, the school announced Monday afternoon.Â
"Coaching this team has been an absolute privilege," said Wong. "I've loved every moment of working with such an incredible group of student-athletes—watching them grow as players and as people has been truly rewarding. GW will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will deeply miss the people who make this program so special—Katie, Nicole, Marissa, Audrey, Stephen, and Emily. Thank you all for the memories, the hard work, and the camaraderie," said Wong.Â
Wong joined the Buff & Blue alongside current Head Coach Katie Reifert ahead of the 2022 season, helping the team to two Atlantic 10 Championship tournament appearances across three seasons. Wong arrived at GW with over 15 years of collegiate coaching experience, with stops at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Georgetown, Delaware State, Ohio University and Miami University (Ohio).
