GW volleyball earned its fourth Atlantic 10 series sweep on Saturday afternoon by way of a five-set thriller with the Saint Louis Billikens. With the win, GW moves to 17-11 overall with a 10-6 mark in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
-              The hosts earned the matinee's opening set by way of a 25-22 victory. 
-              The Buff & Blue battled into extra points to even the match in the second, 26-24, and retained its momentum in the third with a 25-22 victory to take a 2-1 lead. 
-              The Billikens knotted the match in the fourth with a 25-16 victory to force a deciding set. 
-              It was the Revolutionaries who capped off the afternoon, closing the match with a 15-11 set victory, behind a .375 hitting percentage. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Alexis Rodriguez earned her ninth double-double of the season, leading GW with a career-high 22 kills and pacing the backcourt with 17 digs. 
- Three other GW Revs: Cayla Cogan (14), Sydney Hasenfratz (13) and Taylor Treahy (12) joined Rodriguez hitting in double figures. 
Abby Markworth fed the attack with 52 assists. 
- Sydney Stewart and Hasenfratz each chipped in on seven blocks.
- As a team, the Buff & Blue put down 65 kills to out-hit Saint Louis by five kills.

Up next, GW turns its attention to Duquesne, welcoming the Dukes to the District for the regular season's last series. Play begins Friday at 6 p.m. with the No. 5 jersey of Svetlana Vtyurina being retired in between the second and third sets. The match will air live on ESPN+.
