Volleyball Welcomes Duquesne, Honors Seniors and Program Great Svetlana Vtyurina

WASHINGTON - GW volleyball is set for its final weekend of regular season action at home, welcoming the Duquesne Dukes to Foggy Bottom for matchups on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.
Friday's primetime matchup will feature the retiring of Svetlana Vtyurina's jersey, the program's all-time most decorated player, between the second and third sets.
On Saturday, the program will celebrate its six seniors: Sydney Hasenfratz, Cianna Tejada, Dilara Elmacıoğlu, Sydney Stewart, Penleope Hiepler and Amina Robinson will all be recognized prior to the match for their accomplishments while wearing the Buff & Blue.

· Both GW and Duquesne have clinched a spot in the A-10 Championship, with GW occupying a four-way tie for second place and the Dukes slotted in the No. 6 position. The final weekend matchups will determine the final seeding for next week's championship in Richmond, Va.
· The Dukes have earned a 9-7 mark in conference play, most recently defeating the Davidson Wildcats to clinch the final slot in the six-team championship.
