GW volleyball earned its ninth A-10 victory of the 2025 campaign on Friday evening, stifling the Saint Louis Billikens in straight sets on Friday evening in Chaifetz Pavilion.

HOW IT HAPPENED

· Playing through a narrow first set, it was the Buff & Blue who came out on top, 25-19.

· GW hit its most efficient set in the second, putting down 12 team kills en route to a 25-16 set victory.

· The Revolutionaries led by as much as 10 before the Billikens fought back, but the Buff & Blue only relinquished the lead once in the 25-18 victory to earn the match in straight sets.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

· It was sophomore Cayla Cogan who led the way on Friday evening, swinging 10 kills as the only attacker on both sides to swing in double digits.

· At middle blocker, Sydney Hasenfratz remained steady for GW, chipping in seven blocks and adding in five kills.

· Abby Markworth paced GW with 23 assists.

· Alexis Rodriguez led the GW backcourt with 10 digs, and Markworth, Penelope Hiepler and Sadee Gedse combined for five of GW's eight service aces.
The Buff & Blue will look to earn the A-10 series from the Billikens in a sweep tomorrow at 2 p.m. The match will be carried live from St. Louis on ESPN+.
