Lacrosse Dominates Radford, 18-1

WASHINGTON- Behind a season-high 18 goals, GW lacrosse thrashed the Radford Highlanders in its second home game of the season at the Vern. 
The game was all Buff & Blue from the start, with GW leaving the visitors scoreless until the fourht quarter. The home team jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead after 15 minutes, which only widened to 11-0 at the break. In the second half, on running clock, GW would add seven more, with the visitors notching one in the final 15.Â
Eight GW Revs found the back of the net, led by Grace Curry who chipped in five, matching her career high. Katie Fullowan and Emma McLaughlin each registered a hat trick, while Sophia Levine, McKenna Jacobs, Gracie Burke, Emma Curry and Kiki Rotay all got on the board. Levine and Everly Kessler also fed the attack with four assists apiece.Â
On the defensive side, Olivia Chesla led the team in caused turnovers (2) and Katie Hipp in ground balls (4). Stella Ray and Hayley Bolton combined for 12 draw controls, and in the cage, Gabi Greth played all 60 minutes to earn six saves.Â
