Gymnastics Outlasts Wildcats, Earns EAGL Victory

Durham, N.H. -Â Highlighted by victories on each apparatus with yet another EAGL victory, GW gymnastics bested the UNH Wildcats in a Sunday afternoon dual meet, 195.325-194.200. The victory marks the fifth-consecutive first-place finish for GW and Head Coach Stephanie Worrell.

Claiming the co-title on bars, Deana Sheremeta earned a new personal best 9.825 to finish alongside Lola Montevago, while on beam, three GW Revs earned season-best scores: Brooke Izzo, Kendall Whitman and Montevago.

With the win, GW moves to 3-0 in conference action, as the meet served as a regular season head-to-head between the two EAGL rivals.Â
