Golf Moves Up to Third On Day Two of A-10 Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. -Â On a day with tougher conditions at the Grand Cypress course at the Evermore Resort, GW golf held its own and moved up a spot to sit in third place with 18 holes to go at the A-10 Championship.
Jakub Hrinda led the Buff & Blue on the day with an even-par 72 as GW shot an 8-over 296 on the day, third-lowest among the teams. The Revolutionaries surpassed Dayton on Saturday and sit 10-over for the championship, four shots behind second place Davidson (+6). VCU extended its lead over the field to 20 shots with a 3-under day, sitting at -14 overall.
Hrinda's 72 moved him into a tie for 13th in the individual championship race alongside Rodrigo Barahona following the latter's round of 76 on Saturday. Jed Dy leads the Revolutionaries at 1-over for the championship, good for a tie for eighth. Manuel Barbachano and Hugo Riboud, both at 5-over, give GW all five golfers in the top-20.
GW will tee off with the leaders VCU and Davidson in Sunday's final round off the first tee beginning at 8:15 a.m.
