Golf Heads to Bandon Dunes Championship

WASHINGTON - GW begins its Spring Break trip with a visit to the Bandon Dunes Championship, hosted by the University of Idaho at the Pacific Dunes course alongside the Oregon Coast. The Buff & Blue will compete in three days of competition from March 10-12.

GW finished fifth out of 14 teams at the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate this past week. The Buff & Blue received a pair of top-10 performances from Jakub Hrinda and Jed Dy, who each tied for ninth with six-over 222s. Hrinda posted the lowest round of the week with a 2-under 70 in the opening 18 while Dy came back to the pack with an even-par 72 on Tuesday to finish out his tournament. Dy also carded the Revolutionaries' lowest score in Monday's second round with a 2-over 74.
