WASHINGTON - GW lacrosse is back on The Vern this Sunday as it welcomes Davidson for an A-10 clash. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. with live coverage available via ESPN+.

LAST TIME OUT
GW was unable to keep pace with the high-powered Saint Joseph's Hawks, falling 20-6 on Wednesday in Philadelphia. St. Joe's scored the first nine goals of the game to set the tone. Phoebe Mullarkey and Emma Nowakowski each scored a pair of goals on the day for the Buff & Blue.

MORGAN'S MESSAGE GAME
Sunday's game is dedicated to the life and legacy of Morgan Rodgers, a former Duke University Lacrosse student-athlete who died tragically in July 2019 after battling mental health struggles. Morgan's Message was created by her family and former teammates and is focused on advocating for the mental health of student-athletes across the country and eliminating the stigma around mental health in college sports. It seeks to amplify stories, resources and expertise on mental health to build a community by and for athletes through peer-to-peer conversations and provide a platform for advocacy.

Morgan's Message is committed to elevating the diversity of perspectives found within athletics. They aim to build a community which respects, supports and actively engages all aspects of identity. It is important to acknowledge the ways in which these identities differentiate our individual experiences with mental health. Morgan's Message will remain a safe, open and trustworthy platform that equitably advocates for all members of the student-athlete community.
