Wiesemann Selected to Atlantic 10 Preseason Team

Senior selected to A-10 Preseason Team for second consecutive year
WASHINGTON – Stella Wiesemann of GW tennis has been selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Preseason Team for the second year in a row, the conference announced on Thursday.
Wiesemann earned the recognition after posting a 13-5 singles record at the No. 1 flight throughout the 2023 season. Wiesemann closed her junior campaign having won nine-straight singles matches and went 8-0 against conference opponents. With partner Gabriela Giraldo, the pair went 12-6 in doubles play overall and 5-2 in A-10 matchups, all at the No. 1 spot.
Her 2023 contributions awarded her recognition on the A-10 All-Conference First Team.
As a team, GW is projected to place sixth in the conference after reaching the Atlantic 10 Championship last spring.
