
Gymnastics Hosts Ball State for Pride Meet on Friday

WASHINGTON – The George Washington gymnastics team will host Ball State in the Smith Center for its Pride Meet on Friday at 7 p.m.
IN THE COMMUNITY
At each home meet this season, Cards for Hospitalized Kids will have a station set up where fans can create and decorate cards for patients in hospitals across the country. Materials and a box for distribution will be set up outside the box office. Follow Cards For Hospitalized Kids on social media to learn more about the organization and learn how to make an impact.
PINK/BARBIE MEET RECAP
GW gymnastics scored a season-high 196.625 at home on Friday night in its third first-place finish in a row as part of its Pink/Barbie meet.
GW scored a 49.300 on vault, a 48.650 on bars, 49.300 on beam and a 49.375 on floor.
Kendall Whitman took second place in the all-around with a career-high score of 39.200. Whitman also took first place on floor with a career-high tying 9.950. Rachel Katz tied for first on vault with a career-high tying score of 9.900. Maya Peters placed first out of all performers on beam with a career-high score of 9.925. Delaney DeHaan placed first on bars with a career-high score of 9.825.
A LOOK AT BALL STATE
After winning their last three dual meets, the Cardinals lost against Western Michigan Saturday evening at University Arena with a score of 195.950.
