GW led in saves and draw controls
WASHINGTON – GW lacrosse fell 10-5 in its Wednesday matinee to American.
GW and American traded goals to begin the opening quarter, with Shea Baggett scoring one goal for GW.
In the second quarter, Bailey Aaron had an unassisted goal that put the Revolutionaries ahead of the Eagles 2-1. American tied up the score 2-2, but Everly Kessler came back with a free-position goal to take the lead at halftime, 3-2.
GW had a single goal by Haley Bolton in the third quarter, but four goals from American put the guests in the lead, 6-5.
The Eagles found the back of the net four times in the fourth quarter, while GW went goalless, resulting in GW dropping its third game of the season, 10-5.

- Bailey Aaron led the offense with two goals and two assists.
- Stella Ray led the team in draw controls (6) and ground balls (5).
- Phoebe Mullarkey led the team in shots on goal (4).
- Three of the five goals scored by GW were unassisted.
