Gymnastics Hosts Pink/Barbie Meet on Friday

WASHINGTON– The George Washington gymnastics team will return to the Smith Center on Friday at 7 p.m., when it welcomes Towson, Kent State, UNH and W&M for its Pink/Barbie Meet. Live coverage of the meet will be available on ESPN+.
PINK/BARBIE MEET FAN GIVEAWAY
The first 500 fans will receive a pair of limited edition GW gymnastics pink heart-shaped sunglasses. 100 Barbie dolls will also be given away at the gate.
IN THE COMMUNITY
At each home meet this season, Cards for Hospitalized Kids will have a station set up where fans can create and decorate cards for patients in hospitals across the country. Materials and a box for distribution will be set up outside the box office. Follow Cards For Hospitalized Kids on social media to learn more about the organization and learn how to make an impact.

GW gymnastics scored a 195.575 at LIU last Sunday in their second first-place finish of the season.
GW scored a 48.675 on bars, a 48.300 on beam, 49.100 on floor and a 49.100 on vault.
Anneliese Silverman took first place in the all-around with a score of 39.175. Kendall Whitman took first place on floor with a score of 9.925 and on beam with a 9.750. Sarah Zois placed first on vault with a score of 9.875. Rachel Katz placed first on bars with a 9.825.
