Hrinda Named to A-10 All-Academic Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - GW senior Jakub Hrinda was announced on Thursday as one of five members of the Atlantic 10 All-Academic golf team.
Hrinda possesses a 3.93 GPA in Neuroscience while enjoying a sterling senior campaign on the course. The Poprad, Slovakia native earned A-10 All-Conference and PING All-Region honors for his play, which included a team-best 71.18 scoring average in 33 rounds this year.
Hrinda won a pair of individual titles - the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational in October and the Ross Collegiate Classic in March - and registered the lowest 18-hole, 36-hole and 54-hole scoring mark in program history during the year. He capped off his campaign with a sixth-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
