Hrinda Tabbed to PING All-Region Team

NORMAN, Okla. -Â GW golf senior Jakub Hrinda was named to the PING Division I All-Northeast Region team, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Hrinda is the first All-Region honoree for the program since Logan Lowe earned the accolade three times in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The honor concludes a strong senior season for Hrinda in which he became GW's first A-10 All-Conference honoree since 2019 after tying for sixth overall at the conference championship.
The native Slovakian won a pair of events this year - The Pacific Visit Stockton Invitational in the fall as well as the Ross Collegiate Classic in March. His performance at Stockton set the GW record for best 18-hole score (62), 36-hole score (132) and 54-hole mark (199) in program history. He will enter his final season of eligibility in 2023-24 with the third-best career scoring average in program history at 74.07.
