Lacrosse Heads to Davidson on Saturday

Opening draw from Richardson stadium set for 1 p.m.
WASHINGTON – George Washington lacrosse will visit Davidson on Saturday for a 1 p.m. opening draw at Richardson Stadium in Davidson, N.C., with live coverage on ESPN+.Â
LAST TIME OUTÂ
GW was held off by Saint Joseph's on Wednesday at the Mount Vernon Lacrosse Field, falling to the Hawks 17-6. Whitney Moran and Kerry McKeever led the GW offense with two goals apiece and Amelia Moran and Emily Mowbray registered a goal to set GW's final tally. Grace Curry made her first career start and put three shots on net and picked up two ground balls. Rebekah Lenoble also made her first career start in net for the Buff & Blue, making five saves in 45 minutes of action. First-year Elizabeth Craft played the remaining 15 minutes of the contest, making one save.Â
A LOOK AT DAVIDSON
The Wildcats are 8-2 overall and 3-0 in Atlantic 10 play. The Wildcats are led by Grace Fahey, who ranks 10th nationally in total points with 49. Fahey has scored 30 goals and added 19 assists. Erin Cook is also among the top-10 nationally with 23 assists on the season. In net, Amanda Monahan has made 73 saves this season and boasts a .437 save percentage.Â
