GW faces its first A-10 foe on Saturday at 1 p.m.
WASHINGTON - GW lacrosse will face its first Atlantic 10 opponent on Saturday, visiting La Salle for a 1 p.m. opening draw in Philadelphia. GW will have a quick turnaround, visiting Monmouth on Monday for a 1 p.m. start in West Long Branch, N.J.

Whitney Moran tallied her second hat trick of the season in a 19-7 loss to Mercer on Tuesday. Moran's team-high four points was a season-high for the graduate student, adding one assist for her first of the year. Emily Mobray pocketed a pair of goals, adding to her season total of five, and Kerry McKeever and Amber Germer counted for the other markers for GW. In net, Mia Caro made a career-high 12 saves.

Alana Lathan and Mackenzie Click lead the Explorers' offense with six goals apiece, and Molly Maloney has a team-best three assists. In net, Julia Dellaratta has been the primary keeper for La Salle, making 47 saves for a .405 save percentage.
Monmouth is 5-3 overall and is led offensively by Caroline Brennan, with 17 goals and seven assists. Cassidy Orban is second on the squad with 14 goals. Gia Mitchell has made 55 saves in net with a .407 save percentage. Mary Kate George was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, contributing eight ground balls, five caused turnovers and a draw control in a pair of Hawk wins last week.
