Lacrosse Visits Stetson for First Road Test

WASHINGTON – GW lacrosse will face its first road test on Friday, visiting Stetson for a 3 p.m. opening draw in DeLand, Fla.

GW dropped a 15-6 decision to Temple last Saturday but put six different goal scorers on the stat sheet for the second-straight game. Whitney Moran tallied her team-leading fourth goal of the year and Kerry McKeever, Amber Germer, Emily Mowbray, Kiki Rotay and Everly Kessler scored for the Buff & Blue.
KEEPING UP WITH CARO
Sophomore goalkeeper Mia Caro has played every minute between the pipes for GW this season, tallying a career-high 11 stops last game vs. Temple. Caro is currently fourth in the A-10, averaging nine saves per game, totaling 18 saves on the young season.

Stetson (0-2) is still looking for its first win of 2023 after opening the season with losses to Campbell and Canisius. Jessica Duggan leads the Stetson offense with four goals this season after the senior tallied a hat trick in the Hatters' 17-10 loss to Canisius.
